Same Day Taj Mahal Tour by Train

The Same-Day Taj Mahal Tour by Train excursion on the Shatabdi train is a fantastic day trip to the Taj Mahal city. The Shatabdi train travels from New Delhi to Agra in slightly more than two hours. While supper will be provided on board on the return trip from Agra to Delhi, breakfast is served aboard the train. Since the Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays, we don't provide any tours on that day. If you have made advance hotel reservations or are arriving by train, our business representative will greet you there. 

Visit the Taj Mahal around 8:15 a.m. 

When you arrive, you will be taken to the hotel for a rest. You will get to know your guide before he or she takes you to the top Agra tourist attractions. Observe the Taj Mahal, a symbol of love. 

11:30 Hrs. Go to Agra Fort.

After seeing the Taj Mahal, proceed to the Agra Fort, which was built by the Emperor Akbar and is located on the Yamuna River's banks to the northwest of the Taj Mahal. 

12:00:45 Lunch

After your visit to the Agra Fort, you will be transported to a restaurant for a magnificent buffet lunch. 

Fatehpur Sikri time is 14.30.

After lunch, travel 40 kilometres from Agra to Fatehpur Sikri with our local tour guide. It was created by the illustrious Mughal Emperor, who gave it the infamous name "City of Ghosts."

17:30 Hrs.

Evening Time: Free to enjoy one's leisure or free to explore Agra's rich handicraft heritage.

19:30 Hrs.

Take a bus or train to the railroad station to catch the superfast Shatabdi Express train to Delhi. 

23:00 Hrs.

After your arrival in Delhi, our chauffeur will pick you up at the New Delhi Railway Station. Transferring to the Hotel; with sweet memories of the same-day train trip to Agra, the tour comes to a close here.
